The WebzAPI Honesty Pledge
"At WebzAPI, we build digital empires on a foundation of absolute trust. We do not believe in holding your budget hostage, hiding behind complex legal jargon, or charging you for value we did not deliver. Our refund policy is built on a simple, ethical rule: You pay only for the time, expertise, and assets we have actually deployed for your business. Period."
1. The 14-Day Safety Net
We want you to feel completely secure when you partner with us. If, for any reason, you decide to cancel a fixed-price project within the first 14 days of signing the agreement (and before the core structural coding has begun), we will provide a refund of your upfront deposit.
Fairness Clause: We will only deduct an amount proportionate to the actual hours our team has already spent on discovery calls, architectural planning, and UI/UX wireframing up to that point. The rest goes straight back to you.
2. Milestone-Based Transparency
We divide large projects into clear milestones (e.g., Design Approval, Core Engineering, Final Deployment). This protects both of us.
- Completed Milestones: Once you review, approve, and pay for a milestone, the work is considered delivered. Because time and code cannot be "returned," payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.
- Future Milestones: If you decide to halt the project midway, you will never be billed for milestones we haven't started. Any advance payments made for unstarted future milestones will be refunded 100%.
3. Hourly Consulting & Retainers
For clients on our Hourly Consulting or Monthly Retainer models, our policy is as straightforward as it gets:
- You pay for the hours we work. If you pre-purchase a block of hours and decide to stop our engagement, we will refund you 100% of the value of the unused hours.
- Hours already consumed for audits, coding, or consulting cannot be refunded.
4. Digital Assets & Code Ownership
If a project is cancelled midway and a partial refund is issued, we remain fair regarding the work done. Any code, designs, or assets that have been fully paid for up to the point of cancellation will be handed over to you. You own what you paid for, and we will not withhold your assets out of spite.
5. Exceptions (When Refunds Don't Apply)
To protect our studio from exploitation, refunds are not applicable under the following conditions:
- The project has been 100% completed, deployed to your live servers, and the final handover is done.
- Delays or project failures caused by the client's prolonged unresponsiveness (over 30 days) or failure to provide necessary access/materials required to do our job.
- Third-party costs: If we purchased specific software licenses, premium plugins, or server infrastructure specifically for your project, those costs are non-refundable.
6. How to Request a Refund
There are no complicated forms or hoops to jump through. If you feel a refund is justified based on the terms above, simply email me directly. We will review the project status together like professionals and initiate the eligible refund to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
